Permission and control

Repository traffic requires access. It should not require blind trust.

GitHub exposes repository traffic only to people and apps with sufficient repository access. RepoLogbook uses read-only Administration access for traffic endpoints and read-only Metadata for the public repositories you select. It does not request a personal access token or write repository contents.

You stay in control

  • Choose individual repositories during GitHub App installation.
  • Private repositories remain unsupported during the current beta.
  • Uninstall the app in GitHub settings and delete stored data from Account.

Review the privacy boundary or read the reporting methodology.
